Altefähr is located in the very southeast of the island of Rügen, directly on the Strelasund. From the small harbor and the beach promenade you can enjoy the view over the water, over the roofs and church towers of the historic old town of Stralsund. The modern beach promenade and the wide sandy beach invite you to stroll and linger, and the shallow water on the beach is especially attractive for families. The children can let off steam on the beach playground and also for the somewhat older ones there are many great offers with beach volleyball courts, sailing and surfing schools, thanks to which play and fun are guaranteed.

If you are a cook, you can feast along the promenade in the various restaurants or fish restaurants and enjoy yourself. Also as an angler you will get your money's worth on the shore or on boat trips.
In addition to the beautiful town of Altefähr, you should also discover the island. Rent bicycles in the village and explore the many well-marked bike paths. The well-known cycle path 'Rügenrund' leads you along the impressive sights of the island and promises you a great time.

    “Kaffeemaschine wurde durch uns erst einmal entkalkt, da im Betriebszustand laut zischend, Kaffeekanne unsauber. Kompottschalen und Schnaps-oder Likörgläser nicht vorhanden. Lebensmittel-Reste wie Olivenöl, Mehl, Zucker vom Vormieter haben in den der Küche nichts verloren. Nebenkosten sollten unserer Meinung nach bei diesem Wochenmietpreis eigentlich enthalten sein.
