Thatched holiday house “Ankerplatz”

The holiday house is right in the former fishing village Börgerende and is easy to access, with good connections. It is only about 20 minutes from the A20.



Tradition meets modernity. The classical thatched Finnish chalet was renovated and modernised in 2017. It provides around 55m² on two floors, comprising a generous living and dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and two bedrooms on the upper floor with a solid wooden double bed (180cm wide) and a single bed (90cm), little table and seating, under the thatched roof. There is plenty of storage space e.g. for clothing on both floors. The living room flooded with daylight has a lounge sofa for relaxing with music, a book or TV. The dining space with its solid wooden furniture is ideal not just for dining, but also for sociable gatherings e.g. games evenings. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary electrical appliances (induction hob, oven with microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and toaster). A flatscreen TV (satellite) and a stereo system (SONOS) are available, along with free Wi-Fi access. Everything is available also for the autumn or winter, so you can make yourselves comfortable e.g. after a long walk or the fireworks on the beach.



The thatched Finnish chalet is on a 400m² site and is surrounded by a private garden with abundant greenery. There are two parking spaces in the front part. The rear part has a terrace with garden furniture and a canopy beach chair. The terrace is surrounded by hedges and is difficult to look into. There is an awning as a sun shade.



Pets are not allowed. The house is suitable for allergy sufferers. There is no spa tax in Börgerende.



It is about 1.5km to the beach. The centre with shops, restaurants and tourist information is about 800-1500m away. Owing to the good access to walking and cycling paths, it is possible to explore the area on foot or by bike. Possible destinations include Heiligendamm, Bad Doberanor the Baltic Sea town Nienhagen. The paths often lead directly along the water, the embankment or the steep coast. Pure nature. Trip destinations further afield are Warnemünde (ca 25mins), Rostock (ca. 25mins), Wismar (ca. 45mins), Stralsund (ca. 1h 20mins) or the island Rügen. Even during the cold season, the accommodation and its surroundings are very idyllic. Enjoy the autumn or the winter from their most beautiful sides.

    “Schon beim Einparken auf dem herrlich angelegten Grundstück fühlt man sich zuhause. Die Inneneinrichtung ist modern und absolut gemütlich, auch am Abend durch verschiedene Lichtvarianten und entspricht voll den Bildern auf der Homepage. Tagsüber ist das ganze Haus lichtdurchflutet, man kann aber auch einfach per Knopfdruck die Jalousien und auf der sonnigen Terrasse die Markise ausfahren. Die Küche ist mit neuestem Equipment komplett ausgestattet. Unterm Dach in den oberen Schlafzimmern schläft es sich wunderbar.”

    “Dieses Ferienhaus würden wir auf jedem Fall immer wieder buchen. Positiv: Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in guter Lage, mit eigenem Garten und schöner Terrasse. Extra Schuppen zum unterstellen von Fahrrädern. Sehr nette Vermieter. Stellplatz für das Auto direkt am Haus.”

    “Es hat uns sehr gefallen. die Wohnung ist sehr schön, und sehr gut eingerichtet. Im Umkreis von 20 Km kann man viel sehen. Es gibt auch einige gute Gastronomie mit guter Preisleistung. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut funktionell eingerichtet.”

    “Prima huisje, goede ligging, comfortabel en gezellig ingericht. Prima bedden. Voor max 3 personen goed onderkomen.

    Wij vonden de trap naar boven een halsbreker. Ook het serviesgoed was wat zuinig. Daardoor vaak moeten afwassen (lees vaatwasser aan zetten).”
